Prestisjetunge iF Gold Award går til KODE Design

KODE Design vant den internasjonale prisen iF Gold Award for ROFI Facemask. Produktet er utviklet i samarbeid med ROFI Industrier som produserer og selger beskyttelsesmasken til humanitær minerydding i hele verden. Prisen ble gitt for godt design og sofistikert bruk av et helt nytt kompositt-materiale.

Juryens uttalelse:

“Due to the sophisticated application and processing of this material this face protector offers a particularly high degree of safety. Thanks to this new ‘PURE® Composite’ material the weight of the mask has been reduced to 500g, only 50% of that required for polycarbonate, making it considerably more comfortable to wear. The visor has been placed close to the eyes for superior protection and minimal visual distortion; it is also scratch-resistant and easy to replace. Besides being attractive to look at, this mask is well-designed and the workmanship perfect,” concluded the jury.

20 produkter har vunnet iF Material award i år, og av disse ble 3 hedret med iF Gold Award hvorav det ene er beskyttelsesmasken designet av KODE Design. Produktet vant også iF Product Design Award tidligere i år.
